Design inspiration:
For my designs I was truly
inspired by travel, and a sense of luxury. I wanted to take something, which
has been recycled, and make it appear to be new and expensive looking. I was
truly inspired by the likes of the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, as well as Marisa
Berenson in the 1960’s. In the creative process I always have the ideal muse in
mind, and visualize what she would want to wear to the places she travels.
Hence the color scheme consisting primarily of gold and black, as well as pearl
and Swarovski embellishments for detailing.
Favorite part about participating
so far: Searching and hunting for the most exquisite textiles for each look!
